I choose to do my website on the Red River Ecosystem, which includes all tributaries flowing into it. The Red River starts between the states of Minnesota and North Dakota, and flows all the way to lake Winnipeg, 885 km downstream. Over this trip the Red River drops only 70 meters as it heads towards the hudson bay  drainage basin. This relativly easy drop causes this muddy river to have a slow current, and has only cut a shallow riverbed.

   For this website I refferenced:
  • previous knowlege gained from fishing and living in the area
  • various fishing books
